Rockin' Sidewalk Sale - Saturday, July 31, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.!

We will be a having a very special sale on Saturday, July 31st from 10-5.  We're calling it our "Rockin' Sidewalk Sale" (you'll see why below) and 100% of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to The Leading Note Foundation's OrKidstra & KidSingers Programs!

At a recent trade show, we were the lucky winners of an entire booth of Alfred publications and are now inundated with hundreds of books, DVDs and CDs that are not normally found at The Leading Note.

• rock and pop songbooks from The Rolling Stones, Rush, Led Zeppelin and many others, in easy piano, p/v/g, and guitar tab formats

The Leading Note Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

As hard to believe as it may seem, The Leading Note music store celebrated its 10th anniversay of operation in December 2009!  We owe a great deal of thanks to our many customers who have helped to make the store a success over the years.  In order to show our appreciation, we decided to donate 10% of all in-store sales for the entire month of December to local music organizations.  It was up to our customers to decide where they wanted to direct 10% of each purchase.  As a result, over $3,000 was donated to 97 different arts organizations throughout the city!  Many thanks to all of our customers who supported this initiative.

The Leading Note Foundation OrKidstra & KidSingers Programs

The third year of the OrKidstra and KidSingers programs is now under way and virtually all of our students returned from last year for another year of music-making.  We now have over 100 students taking lessons at the Bronson Centre!  Visit the The Leading Note Foundation web site  for the latest news.
