The Leading Note Guide to RCM Graded Materials for Voice
In order to complete an RCM level in voice, students should be prepared for four components: Repertoire, Vocalises, Technique, and Ear Training. This guide will help you determine which books will be useful to complete your level. Complete information about each level can be found in the RCM Voice Syllabus (2019 Edition). Students and teachers are responsible for verifying all repertoire selections with the lists in the syllabus. The following is a guide only.
Beginning at Level 5, students must also complete the corresponding Theory and History Co-requisites (although RCM now provide theory books for all levels). Information about these separate requirements can be found in the RCM Theory Syllabus (2016 Edition).
